Play the What If game NOW

Life is a game and YOU are in charge.

So many of us believe that life is hard and there's nothing we can do to change it.

The truth is this - its like a computer game where we get to create our reality. As the name of this blog says 'Your future is your present'. What you believe NOW is creating your tomorrow.

CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE.

What if your memories were all wiped out and you have forgotten the 'bad' things that went on in your life. You have forgotten the beliefs you have about yourself - I am fat. I am useless. I am a bad person. I feel so guilty about A..   She said I was mean etc etc etc

How would today be for you?  You have forgotten all the negative things ever said or done to you that have shaped your present.

Now start doing and living with a clear and clean slate.

The starting point is that you are WONDERFUL.  Nothing scares you and today and this moment is wonderful.

Go live your life - try it for a day. Adopt the belief that nothing can knock you off your path. You are happy NOW. You are LOVED now.

You are whatever you want to be.

This is what I am doing.  Its a lovely day and I am going to potter about in the garden and let my imagination run wild.  Nothing can stop me.

Happy St Patricks Day - Let the Good In because this is your time NOW !!!!.

In The Moment

Today I am enjoying silence and peace. The only noises at the moment are:-

  • me tapping on the keyboard
  • my dog snoring quietly
  • distant hum of traffic
  • a clock ticking somewhere in the house

My mind, this morning was in everybody elses business so a quick and gentle tug back to the moment has restored balance.

Today I am not only being in the moment but being grateful for what I have. Hmmm - I have so much and even using the word 'have' does not seem right.

I am very grateful for this moment and everything in it - silence, 2 sleeping, dogs, the smell of coffee ...................................

This MOMENT is as I want and for that I am grateful.

Testing Testing Testing

This business of mindfulness can be a pain and an effort.

Today I had to travel over 40 miles for an appointment. I arrived on time to be told that I was a day late !  Not my fault because I had the appointment letter with me and it said TODAY.  I had 2 choices - smile and accept OR be very angry !!

I chose the former and I suggested coming back another day - with a smile on my face. Inside I was cursing the stupidity of someone. Dear God, how the heck could this have  happened - stupid bloody people. What the h*** was I supposed to do now .............

Another appointment was made and I fumed for the rest of the day.  When I look back I realise that I could have handled this better.  I immediately jumped in offering to come back rather than letting them see if I could be fitted in today. Oh no not me. I handed over my power so tomorrow I am back to the same place. As I huffed and puffed around, there was only one person hurting - ME.

A lesson learned today.  I created the situation by CHOOSING to be angry. I hurt myself.

The whole business of manifestation is at the forefront of my mind today.

Thats where it starts and stops - in our consciousness.  We get what we let in. So if I pour negativity on a situation and then i wonder why it went wrong - duhhhhhhh.

This is why being in the moment is crucial. For example today, instead of letting go of a minor mishap, I held on to it and embellished it. At one point I caught myself on but that was after a good hour of inner bitching.

Anyway as they say, when we know better we do better. I am sure of that now.

Whatever happens, see the lighter side of it - is it really THAT bad?

Be in the moment.

Day 1 - Walk the Walk and Talk the Talk

What do I want my life to be like?

I have vision boards or treasure maps already - going to have another look at them. I am also going to focus positive energy on them and allow them in.

To me the key to this manifestation process is being 'in the moment'. Its about MINDFULNESS.

This is how I see it.

I remain centred on this moment and relish it because it is real and it is perfect.

As I am aware only of what is HERE AND NOW as opposed to what I think is happening, I can create more of the perfection.

When I am in the moment, I am not thinking of lack or sadness or pain or whatever. If I am not thinking about the negative, I can't create more of it.

It has taken me YEARS for that to click with me - I know its embarrassing and I believe myself to be intelligent.

Now this made me realise that this sounds as if I am free wheeling through life taking no decisions and just letting ti happen. Hmmm - my left brain is rebelling against this. But I also know that as long as I stay connected to God or source or the universe (which ever you prefer) I am being taken care of.

Meditation is key here - taking time to come back into me and see how things are. I am currently involved in the 21 Day Meditation Challenge on the Chopra site - thanks.

Decisions are based on how my soul reacts - if it feels good, I do it, otherwise I politely stand back.

Today I am staying in the moment, repeating my affirmations and creating my perfect life. I know its here already and I have to live it.

I am also reading up on the 'Seven Sacred Secrets of Manifestation' by Doreen Virtue. It is THE book to read.  Based on The Kybalion, it is worth reading and re-reading.
